Soil Separation Plant
The budget soil separation plant, utilizing reconditioned equipment was completed early June 2016 at the A B Waste Disposal site in Mansfield Woodhouse.
Designed to take trommel drops (sub 50mm) from skip waste and separate into 3 fractions (soil, aggregate & lights).
A large launder was designed and fitted under the existing trommel screen to catch the drops and transport them, via conveyors to the re-conditioned, vibrating, single deck screen to separate the sub 12mm (soil). The 10 – 50mm continues overran air knife to separate the lights from the heavies leaving a clean aggregate and a mixed polythene, paper and polystyrene residue.
